It’s below freezing outside. There is no power and ice covers the ground and power lines. What is there to do? Stay inside bored and wait to die of starvation? Heck no! Here are ways you can stay entertained through the blizzard months.

1. Read a book. Some people love reading and some people would rather just burn them to keep a fire going but books are actually entertaining and can make the time go by if you stay interested.

2. Good old fashioned board game. Games like monopoly that take 5 hours to finish will be a great way to eternally hate your sibling or friend that bought your hotel.

3. Have a genuine conversation. People use Twitter, Instagram, or Snapchat to interact with the world but what about actually talking to people. Yes I said it, talking face-to-face with someone about a subject using words. I know it sounds initmidating but it might just be a good time

4. Take a nap! Naps are excellent any time of the day but they are also good for making time go by faster. Power naps work or just sleeping the rest of the year is your choice but they are excellent for feeling refreshed and energized

5. The least entertaining one! clean the house. Cleaning is boring and nobody likes doing it but sometimes it just has to be done. Do this if you have done everything else and you need to stay busy.
