Mason Jar Salad 

It is important to put the salad dressing on the bottom of the jar to ensure the greens will not be soggey.

(Add ingredients in reverse order, starting with dressing)

Protein It is best to add this the day of. (Chicken, cheese, nuts, etc)

Greens This creates a moisture barrier that keeps ingredients from getting soggy. (Lettuce, spinach, arugula, etc)

Soft veggies and grains To keep ingredients fresh it is important to pack them tightly. (Tomatoes, onions, avocado, etc)

Non-absorbent veggies Use ingredients that will not soak up the salad dressing. (Carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, etc)

Salad dressing Use 2-4 tablespoons

Pour in a bowl and toss when ready to eat!

Strawberry Lime Mint Water Ingredients:

If you want to bring it on the go just put it in a reusable water bottle.

•1 cup of strawberries

•2 limes

•¼ cup mint, fresh leaves

•ice cubes

•water

Instructions: In a 2 quart pitcher layer cut strawberries, lime slices, and mint leaves with the ice cubes. Fill the pitcher with water. Let it chill, and then enjoy! Notes: The longer the water sits the stronger the flavor is. Another way to enjoy this flavored water is using sparkling water instead of tap water.
