 The Kickapoo Winter Guard has been hard at work this winter season finishing third at their first regional in Kansas City and first at Ozark.

  The Emulation guard has been practicing all winter long in preparation for Winter Guard Internationals in Dayton Ohio.

  The guard started strong in their first competition. Placing third amongst fifteen other guards. Junior Kelsie Beckham was impressed with the guards performance.

  “We recently finished our show and a lot of us are excited to perform it for an audience at our upcoming competition. We will continue to tweak it and make the show better through the season and

I’m excited to see how the people will react to it,” Beckham said.

After placing first at  the Ozark competition Beckham was looking towards the rest of the season.

  “I think our competition went really well, I was kind of nervous but I had a lot of fun doing it and I’m excited to see how the rest of the season will turn out,” Beckham said.
