Girl’s tennis at Kickapoo draws many players every year. It brings an array of people, from the competitive to students looking to just have fun.

This year our team has done very well but there is one player that sticks out due to her accomplishment of being able to play at state.

Coral Tracy is a senior this year and has made it to state by taking first at districts and sectionals.

“Oh you bet I’m excited,” Coral Tracy, senior said about being able to play at state.

Tracy has worked hard all season and feels that it has paid off well.

“I’m both excited and nervous [about going to state] but I’m always nervous before a match.” said Tracy.

The state tournament will be this friday all day at Cooper Tennis Facility. Coral is looking forward to playing and is thankful for the support she has been given on the road to state.

“I have a large group of friends and family members that are going to come support.” Tracy said.
