The most important dates to remember as a senior!

As senior year is finally coming to an end. Seniors who have not yet begun the process for ending of senior year stuff. Here are a few things that you should start thinking about before it’s too late.

Yearbooks are on sale now at Jostens.com! Prices start 50 dollars each, but will increase to 55 dollars each in March. The last day to pre-order online and guarantee a yearbook is March 17th.  If you plan to pay cash or check, the last day to do so will be Thursday, March 7th.

If you have not yet ordered your cap, gown & graduation announcements, please do so as soon as possible! Packets are available in the Counseling Center or Main office. You can mail your order to Jostens or order online through Josten’s. Information and links can be found at the Kickapoo website kickapoochiefs.org  If you have already ordered announcements they will be ready for pick up on February 28th during 3rd block.

There’re many big important dates coming up to remember. Here is a list to put on your calendar.

Senior Prom is at Bass Pro White River on Friday May 3rd at 9:00 P.M. Senior recognition and memories assembly is on Wednesday May 15th.

Our last day of high school is Thursday May 16th. “Donut Wants it to End”, senior breakfast is Friday May 17th at 8:30 A.M.

Our graduation practice follows breakfast at the KHS gym at 9:00 A.M. Finally the graduation ceremony is at Great Southern Bank Arena on Saturday May 18th at 7:00 P.M with project graduation to follow.

Senior life in high school is  such an exciting and nostalgic time. In those final years, seniors really start to feel like a big shot. Seniors get to enjoy special privileges like senior skip day and prom. It’s a time of making lasting memories with friends, attending pep rallies and football games, and preparing for the next chapter of our lives. We also have to tackle college applications and make decisions about our future.

It can be a bit overwhelming, but it’s also a time of growth and self-discovery. Senior year is definitely a rollercoaster of emotions, but it’s an unforgettable ride!
