One of my favorite things to do during Christmas time is to watch movies that put me in the Christmas spirit. However when that one movie that you can’t seem to get away from that one movie, it ruins the whole mood.
There are a couple of movies that I think we definitely overrated.
I think we can all agree that the movie “Elf” is overrated. There were a lot of scenes that were meant to be funny but I couldn’t get on board with them. I merely found that movie as annoying,
I do like this movie. I just don’t get the hype about it. To be honest I found this movie kind of weird.
Another movie that I find overrated is Polar Express. Growing up, it was the only movie that was shown in class for Christmas. I don’t think it’s a bad movie, but it doesn’t keep me entertained and I get bored while watching it because it is just kids on a train.
The Grinch is one of my favorite Christmas movies, but seems to be more and more over played. Especially with all the remakes of the movie as a cartoon, I think it’s getting too overrated.
I think that no new movies have been coming out for Christmas that are actually good that we overwatch these movies. These are still great movies to watch, but I think there are many other Christmas movies that are better.
