Studios

     Springfield is home to many photography studios, but most don’t come with photographers. 

1. About Faces Photography 

    This photography studio has a 6000 square foot studio and a 5-acre outdoor portrait space. It is located by Sequiota Park. They pride themselves on the quality of the photos which causes them to charge pricey sessions, but if you’re interested in splurging on your senior pictures, this is a great option. Each session costs anything from $100 to $200 but requires you to spend $300 to $500 on prints on top of your session prices.

2. Other studios

    There are many other studios in Springfield, but unlike About Faces Photography, they don’t offer photographers. Instead, you rent out the studio and hire a photographer. If you look up studios in Springfield, there is a wide variety of set-ups that you can choose from to suit your aesthetic. 

Locations 

   If you don’t want to get your photos taken at a studio, you could ask a photographer to take your pictures at one of these locations. 

1. Turquoise bridge 

 This is a historic bridge located by Lake Springfield. It is the perfect place to take senior pictures, as it offers a colorful, rustic background. It also features a river and pathway surrounding it, offering various views and backdrops for taking pictures. 

2. Nathaniel Green Park

    This park is located in South Springfield and is over 113 acres. This makes it the ideal spot for senior pictures due to the diverse number of backdrops. If you enjoy vibrant nature and a more curated vibe, this is the place for you! 

3. Downtown Springfield 

   If you enjoy more urban, edgy photos, downtown Springfield is the perfect photo spot. It offers a large variety of places to take photos, from streets to storefronts. 

4. Anywhere that is meaningful to you 

   If none of these places are appealing to you, you could also take pictures at a place you love. This could be your family’s property, your dance studio, your favorite walk, or even your school.

   There are many photographers in the Springfield area, and sone of them specialize in senior photography. Oftentimes, photographers have places they like to take photos at, but a lot of them would be happy to take pictures at a place of your choosing. I got my pictures taken by Madison Landrum.
