Red Racks is owned and operated by disabled veterans, meaning shopping here will give back to your community while you save money. Red Racks is located on 1707 West Battlefield Road, and is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Uptown Cheapskate & Plato’s Closet: 7/10

   Uptown Cheapskate and Plato’s Closet differ from other stores on this list. While both stores sell donated clothes, they offer money to the sellers and only accept the clothes they consider high quality. If looking for newer or trendier styles, Uptown Cheapskate and Plato’s Closet are great places to shop on a budget. Uptown Cheapskate is located at 1724 Battlefield Road and open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Plato’s Closet is located on 1724 Battlefield Road, and is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Thrift Haven: 7/10

   Thrift Haven is one of the stores in town that stands out for its quality. They have a wide selection of clothes, books, and appliances available for many different styles. Thrift Haven supports the Fair Haven Children’s Home, with 100% of it’s  proceeds going towards the needs of the children at Fair Haven. Thrift Haven is located at 1312 South Glenstone Avenue, and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays.    

Relics Antique Mall: 9/10 

   While not the typical thrift store, Relics Antique Mall has many differing options. There are many different sellers with their own stalls, giving options for many different styles and unique choices across sections. Some of the booths available include antiques, collectibles, clothes, and home decor. Relics Antique Mall is located at 2015 West Battlefield Road. It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
