Troy Skinner:
Q: What made you decide to do pickleball in college?
A: I wanted to do something fun and enjoyable while also improving my skills.
Q: What are you most excited for in your new sport?
A: I am really excited to just be playing a sport that I love and enjoy, while also not having to worry about the larger physical and mental stress of a sport like soccer. Not to mention the injuries that come along with it.
Q: What do you think you’re going to miss most about your previous sport?
A: I’m going to miss the team mentally of showing up and performing as one unit rather than being an individual for pickleball.
Q: What are your goals for pickleball past college
A: My goal is to eventually be good enough to play at the highest level but I don’t plan on going into the professional side of this sport, because I want to focus on my studies of business and become very successful in that field.

Addison Christopher:
Q: What made you decide to do pickleball in college?
A: Pickleball is something that I absolutely love to do, whether I am playing good that day, or bad. College sports can sometimes be a lot, but I could never imagine myself getting burnt out from it.
Q: What are you most excited for in your new sport?
A: I am so excited to improve. I am so thankful to have this opportunity because they have a great coaching staff and I’m excited to get better. I also look forward to making new friends and having a new community.
Q: What do you think you’re going to miss most about your previous sport?
A: I loved being on the team I was on. Me and the girls had a very good bond. I also loved our coaches. Golf will always hold a special place in my heart but for now I’m ready to be done.
Q: What are your goals for pickleball past college?
A: As of now, I don’t have any plans. However, I see Pickleball being in my future forever in some way.
