Simple Sliders
In a rush and need something quick yet tasty to bring to Friendsgiving? Here’s something easy and yummy that people will be grabbing all night.
Total time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 12 pack of Hawaiian rolls
- Mayo
- 12 slices of ham
- 12 slices of cheese
- Olive oil
- Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 375°F
- Cut all Hawaiian rolls in half into two buns each
- Layer ham, mayo, and cheese in each slider
- Place top bun on and brush oil over all sliders
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top
- Place in oven for 15 minutes
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Take this classic dish and elevate it with a flavorful burst of garlic.
Total time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds of potatoes
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 8 ounces of sour cream
- ½ cups of milk
- 1 tablespoon of garlic
- 1-2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 1-2 teaspoons of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Start boiling a large pot of water on high heat
- Cut potatoes into quarters
- Add potatoes and let cook for 10-12 minutes
- Drain the potatoes and place in a large bowl with butter, sour cream, minced garlic, garlic powder, milk, salt, and pepper
- Mix with a potato masher until all ingredients are combined
- Add more salt and pepper if needed!
Crispy Mac and Cheese
Mac and cheese is a timeless Thanksgiving dish amongst family and friends. Bring this cheesy delight to complement any dish at the table.
Total time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of macaroni pasta
- 12 tablespoons of butter (or 1½ sticks)
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- ¼ teaspoon of salt and pepper
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 ½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Create topping with panko, 2 tablespoons of butter, and ½ cup of cheese. Mix and set aside for later
- Cook pasta according to package
- Melt the rest of the butter into a pan with flour, salt, and pepper. Slowly pour milk in while stirring
- Cook sauce until boiling, then simmer for one minute
- Add cheese after reducing heat
- Add pasta and mix with sauce
- Pour into a baking dish (9-inch recommended), then sprinkle on topping
- Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven
Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes
While pumpkin pie is a classic, it can feel a bit heavy on the stomach after a big feast. Bring this unique dessert that both impresses your friends and won’t go to waste.

Ingredients:
- 1⅓ cups flour
- 1½ tablespoon espresso powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and whisk together
- In another large bowl, mix wet ingredients, adding eggs one at a time.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Then, whisk together
- Pour batter evenly in a greased or lined muffin tin
- Bake for 18-20 minutes
- Let cupcakes cool for 10-15 minutes after baking
- Once fully cooled, place whipped cream on top of each cupcake and sprinkle cinnamon
