A Game for the Seniors

As your age goes up the quality of life tends to go down. But there are certain things that you are able to enjoy in your later years, which you should save for your later years.

Pickleball is a sport that can be played by all ages but is mostly done by seniors. The average age for pickleball players averages between the ages 18 through 44.
Pickle ball’s popularity is mostly older people because of its low impact nature and easy rules. As well having a lower injury risk.
Tennis and pickleball are very alike but have their differences. Tennis is much faster and also has longer courts than a pickleball court. So it is basically a smaller verison of tennis for older people.
Anytime I pass a pickleball court or am playing I usually see older people. I see pickleball as a sport for retired seniors who want to stay in shape without having to run all around and just got their country club membership.
I do not think that younger-middled age people should play pickleball, especially alongside the seniors. There’s just some sports meant for older people and then some for the younger ones. I mean, if you reach 70 and are still hooping with middle aged people that’s great. I just do not know how fair that would be and the same goes for pickleball.
Pickleball is an easy sport to learn, the rules are simple and easy to pick up on. Pickleball is also a social sport, matches usually run in doubles which most older people enjoy this social part of the sport.
This sport is of all skill levels, which allows for older adults to participate no matter the amount of athleticism.
You have the rest of your life to slow down and play bingo or \pickleball so why start early. If you really want to then go play tennis.
My point is not that pickleball is easy, it can be a good workout for certain people, because I have tried to play and it was really enjoyable on my end, but I just think it’s more for seniors citizens because of the exercise you’re getting it’s not as intense as if you were to play a sport like basketball, tennis or soccer.
