Outer Banks:

Although this show is considered “basic”,if you are craving adventure during your vacation. Every summer, this show trends in Netflix’s top ten and that’s because of its amazing storyline and its ability to transport you into an adventurous treasure hunt. I give the show a 9.5/10 because some of the characters choices are a little crazy but it’s still an amazing show.

Fear Street Trilogy:

Coming out in 2022, this movie trilogy brings the best of vintage summer camp slashers and modern day horror. The trilogy begins in the 1990’s and then begins to go back to 1978 and even 1666. The series brings a bit of fall and Halloween vibes back into your summer and commences my personal favorite holiday, Summerween. I give the trilogy a 10/10.

Gravity Falls:

This series to me is perfect for summer. It’s a little childish, but the nostalgia of the show makes it all worth it. Gravity Falls, has two twins who spend the summer with their uncle and uncover mysteries around their uncle’s town. This show is the perfect mix of summer fun and mystery that will keep you intrigued all summer long. I give the show a 8/10 because it needed a new season but they never made another one, regardless of that, the show is very good.

The Summer I Turned Pretty: This series is great for all of the best summer feels. Although it has a slow start, it picks up quick and once it does, you’re instantly hooked into the love triangle between Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah. The show can definitely, frustrate you with the characters decisions, but it’s just so good you can’t help but watch. I give the show a 9/10 just because of Team Conrad.

Mamma Mia:

This movie is the definition of summer. The music and dancing along with the Greek countryside create a unique experience for each and every audience. If you hate musicals, you might want to skip out on this one but if you love them, this movie is perfect to get you ready and excited for a summer of fun. I give this movie a 8/10 only because it’s a musical and a little cheesy but it’s one of my favorites so I can overlook those aspects.
