Many teenagers have their own expenses, leaving them with little disposable income to spend on fun things, such as eating out.

I don’t know a single person my age who doesn’t like eating at a restaurant. However, going out to eat and saving money are not things you hear in the same sentence. If you enjoy Mexican food, there is a place where you can do both simultaneously.

Every Monday and Thursday, you can get a taco for one dollar at Tacos El Gordo, these tacos, especially for the price, are unbeatable. They are served on a soft, corn tortilla with the meat of your choice. They have a wide variety of meats from carne asada to beef cheek.

When you arrive and are seated, you are greeted by a server and asked what you would like to drink. You are given bottomless tortilla chips, which are accompanied by delicious salsa that is extremely fresh and tangy.

I had the chorizo tacos, and I was delighted. They were exceptionally seasoned, and cooked perfectly. They were served on two soft corn tortillas, and topped with onions and herbal cilantro.

The flavors came together harmoniously, and were woven into a tapestry of savory deliciousness.

When it was all said and done, my bill came out to around $7.50, seeing as I had five tacos, and a Pepsi.

Now, I don’t know anywhere else in Springfield where one can get a meal as quality as this one for less money, which was a steal.

If I were to rate this restaurant out of five I would give it a five. The service was good, the food was excellent, and the price was extremely affordable I highly recommend you check out Tacos El Gordo, located on Campbell, or the other location on National.
