Simple Sliders
In a rush and need something quick yet tasty to bring to Friendsgiving? Here is something easy and yummy that people will be grabbing all night.
Total time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 12 pack of Hawaiian rolls
- Mayo
- 12 slices of ham
- 12 slices of cheese
- Olive oil
- Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cut all Hawaiian rolls in half into two buns each.
- Layer ham, mayo, and cheese in each slider.
- Place top bun on and brush oil over all sliders.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Place in oven for 15 minutes.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Take this classic dish and elevate it with a flavorful burst of garlic.
Total time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- Three pounds of potatoes
- Four tablespoons of butter
- Eight ounces of sour cream
- One-half cups of milk
- One tablespoon of garlic
- One to two teaspoons of garlic powder
- One to two teaspoons of salt
- One-fourth teaspoon of cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Start boiling a large pot of water on high heat.
- Cut potatoes into quarters.
- Add potatoes and let cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and place in a large bowl with butter, sour cream, minced garlic, garlic powder, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Mix with a potato masher until all ingredients are combined.
- Add more salt and pepper if needed.
Crispy mac and cheese
Mac and cheese is a timeless Thanksgiving dish amongst family and friends. Bring this cheesy delight to complement any dish at the table.
Total time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- Eight ounces of macaroni pasta
- 12 tablespoons of butter (or 1½ sticks)
- Three tablespoons of flour
- One-fourth teaspoon of salt and pepper
- Two cups of milk
- Two-and-a-half cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- One cup of panko breadcrumbs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Create topping with panko, two tablespoons of butter, and ½ cup of cheese. Mix and set aside for later.
- Cook pasta according to package.
- Melt the rest of the butter into a pan with flour, salt, and pepper. Slowly pour milk in while stirring.
- Cook sauce until boiling, then simmer for one minute.
- Add cheese after reducing heat.
- Add pasta and mix with sauce.
- Pour into a baking dish (nine-inch recommended), then sprinkle on topping.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the oven.
Pumpkin spice latte cupcakes

Ingredients:
- One-and-one-third cups flour
- One-and-a-half tablespoon espresso powder
- One teaspoon baking soda
- One teaspoon baking powder
- One teaspoon ground cinnamon
- One-fourth teaspoon ground nutmeg
- One-fourth teaspoon ground cloves
- One cup pumpkin puree
- One-half cup sugar
- One-half cup brown sugar
- One-half cup vegetable oil
- Two eggs
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and whisk together.
- In another large bowl, mix wet ingredients, adding eggs one at a time.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Then, whisk together.
- Pour batter evenly in a greased or lined muffin tin.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Let cupcakes cool for 10 to 15 minutes after baking.
- Once fully cooled, place whipped cream on top of each cupcake and sprinkle cinnamon.
