Best Dressed

Everyone has had their fair share of favorite classrooms. Kickapoo has a lot of classrooms and a lot of different teachers, let’s see who’s the best.

Samantha Lofthouse fourth block class in room 223.

Whether you are a freshman or a senior you must have that one classroom that no matter what brightened your day. A classroom that you just couldn’t help getting lost in the scenery. It’s true that some teachers do spend a lot more time on their classrooms than others and it has not gone unnoticed.

Every class looks and feels different. It’s not always the way it looks, it’s the atmosphere and the attitude that ultimately makes the classroom best dressed. Everybody’s favorite classroom is up to their own taste. Now my pick for the best-dressed classroom is Samantha Lofthouse room 223 who teaches History and Sociology.

First off,  I love the way the room looks. The colors that she uses go very well together and with her posters. She also keeps her lights off. I know that some people don’t like when their teachers have the lights off because it makes them tired but for me, I think it is more calm and less agitating. When the lights are on in classrooms I get an annoying headache that makes it hard to concentrate.

She has these really cute fairy lights around the room which creates a low soothing light throughout the classroom. The posters and other items in her classroom all contrast well with each other which makes me happy.

Her door is my favorite part of the room. It’s a collage of different photos that have the same colors and shades of pink and blue.  Different teachers have done this to their doors but hers is the one that stuck out to me the most.

But no matter how good the class looks, the teacher makes a difference. If the teacher doesn’t mix well with the students the classroom can become a very bad environment.
